Semporna is beautiful, but don’t go there blindly and impulsively.

✈️Transportation suggestions
·If you are transiting from Kuala Lumpur, it is recommended to use the manual channel. The self-service channel is not stamped and requires a lot of explanation when you arrive in Tawau.
·The nearest airport is Tawau Airport. There are many direct routes from the mainland to Kuala Lumpur/Kota Kinabalu. After arriving, you will transfer to Tawau. It takes about 3 hours to travel to Kuala Lumpur and about 50 minutes to Kota Kinabalu.
·It takes about 1.5 hours’ drive from Tawau Airport to Semporna Town

🏨Accommodation
Accommodation throughout the town is poor. The cost of more than 400 yuan is about the same as a mainland express hotel, and even worse in peak season. If you have enough budget, it is recommended to stay on the island.

🏝️Island hopping
The three classic one-day tour routes all depart from the town in the morning. There are no half-day tours, which are not suitable for the day of landing and return.
