Hidden Gem of Incheon: Sinsimodo Island

Sinsimodo is a cluster of three islands in Incheon. First, we visited the Sculpture Park on Sindo Island, which left a lasting impression. The park features uniquely sculpted rocks and an open view of the sea. Being close to the airport, you can also catch sight of planes taking off. There’s a walking trail, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll.

For lunch, we dined at Isola Restaurant nearby, a local favorite known for its seafood kalguksu (noodle soup). The kalguksu and seafood pancake were absolutely delicious. After the meal, we headed to the Sinsimodo Café, which seems to represent the island itself with its name. The café’s interior is designed to resemble a Bali-like atmosphere, giving off an exotic vibe. It would have been even better on a sunny day, but unfortunately, we visited on a cloudy day. I’d love to return on a clear day to fully enjoy the experience.
