🏎️ Slope Luge at Ganghwa Island, Incheon 🏎️

Upon arriving at Ganghwa Luge, you need to purchase tickets at the ticket booth located at the foot of the mountain. I opted for a single ride ticket, while my child chose a three-ride ticket. After buying tickets, you’ll select a helmet that fits your head size and then take the cable car up the mountain. At the top, the staff will carefully explain how to control the luge and use the brakes (staff can speak Korean, Mandarin, and English). There are fast and slow tracks available, so you can choose the speed that suits you best.

The slope for the luge isn’t too steep, making it suitable for children of all ages. Whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced luge enthusiast, there’s fun to be had for everyone. However, controlling the speed while descending requires pulling the handle firmly (pulling up is for braking or slowing down, while releasing it allows for faster speeds). Since I drove quite slowly, by the time I reached the bottom, my arms—unaccustomed to exercise—felt like they were about to fall off 😅. On the other hand, my child managed three rides without complaining of fatigue 🤭.

Overall, this is an ideal spot for kids to relax and enjoy some thrilling fun. It’s definitely worth a visit!
