Kyoto's Northern Area: Amanohashidate and Ine Village Day Trip

Of all the Japanese tourist spots I visited this year, the one I would recommend the most is the Funaya houses of Ine.
The traditional Funaya houses lined up along Ine Bay are a very lovely place with a lot of character.
It's become popular with foreign tourists recently, so it was a bit lively!
It's nice to stroll through the laid-back streets with a camera in hand.
It's also nice to rent a Funaya lodging and enjoy the scenery from the window.
Another recommendation is the "Ine Bay Sightseeing Boat."
You can see the Funaya houses from the sea side 🤍
I was surprised that the area where the Funaya houses are lined up was larger than I expected.
Please come and see the historic scenery that you can only see here.
