Interlaken truly lives up to its name ~ nestled between stunning Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps in every direction.

We took scenic boat rides on both lakes, each offering its own charm. Lake Thun sparkled with deep blue waters, dotted with medieval castles and charming lakeside villages. Lake Brienz, on the other hand, mesmerized us with its surreal turquoise hue—so calm, it felt like gliding across glass.

The cool breeze, the snowcapped peaks in the distance, and the peaceful rhythm of the boat made this one of the most serene and soul-refreshing experiences of our trip.

Interlaken is more than just a stop ~ it’s a moment of peace between mountains and water.
