Climbing Mount Whitney was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. At 14,505 feet, it’s the tallest peak in the contiguous U.S., and you feel every step of that elevation gain. I started before dawn, my headlamp lighting the rocky trail. The sunrise over the Eastern Sierra was worth every ounce of effort. The final stretch to the summit was tough, but standing at the top and looking out over endless mountains was indescribable. You don’t just visit Mount Whitney — you earn it. It’s an adventure I’ll never forget.
