Okinawa, Iriomote Island [Mangroves]

I joined a kayak tour to explore the mangroves on Iriomote Island, Okinawa. 🛶
We paddled through the river mouth and entered a river, where a world of mangroves unfolded before us. 🌿
Following the tour guide's guidance, we paddled deeper and deeper until we arrived at the magical place shown in the first photo. ♡

Apparently, there's a kayak tour to see the elusive "barringtonia" flower, which blooms for only one night in early July.
If I have the chance, I'd love to see the barringtonia too!
