My first solo trip to Ise Grand Shrine was a truly special one. 🌿
The air at the Outer and Inner Shrines, which I visited early in the morning, was so clear, and just walking along the approach to the shrine felt like a spiritual cleanser.
(You can take a bus from the Outer Shrine to the Inner Shrine. I also recommend getting off along the way and visiting Okage Yokocho.)
After my visit, I felt strangely refreshed and empowered.
Even though there will be challenges, I felt motivated to stay positive and keep working hard.
Afterwards, I strolled through Okage Yokocho and enjoyed their famous Ise udon noodles at "Fukusuke."
The thick, chewy noodles were perfectly coated in the sweet and spicy sauce, giving them a simple yet deep flavor.
It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere was also relaxing, allowing me to enjoy my meal while looking out the window.
On my way back, I also stopped by "Oisesan Honten" near Ise-shi Station and purchased a spray exclusive to the main store.
It opened at 11am, but there was already a small line five minutes before.
I tried it when I got home and it really is amazing - it's so effective!!
I'll continue to carry it with me like a talisman.
If you're considering a solo trip to Ise Grand Shrine, be sure to use this as a reference for your plans.
