[Turkey🇹🇷] The true identity of Istanbul's huge underground palace

The historic district of the Old City of Istanbul, which is registered as a World Heritage Site, is home to Yerebatan Sarayi, the largest reservoir in Istanbul. The entrance fee is a little expensive at about 4,000 yen, but it is a historical building that is rarely seen, so I recommend you go. As you go down the stairs, it is very humid lol. It is said that this underground palace was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I in the 6th century using 7,000 workers. It is hard to believe that it was built in the 6th century! There are several places with Medusa inside, and the patterns on the columns are different, so it is very fun to look at them 🇹🇷Opening hours: 9:00-17:30Access: 2 minutes walk from Tramvay Sultanahmet Station #Istanbul #Turkey #TurkeyTrip #IstanbulTourism #Spring0YenTrip
