The Ping'an Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is located in Zhaoping'an Zhong Village, Tangxia District, Ruian City. Initiated by the Zhaoping'an Village Party Branch in 1989, and with strong support from higher-level Party organizations and veteran comrades, the hall has been gradually built through voluntary donations from the public, collective investment, and small grants from higher authorities. This comprehensive village-level revolutionary memorial hall was built.
Wenzhou has a mid-subtropical monsoon climate zone, with significant alternation between winter and summer monsoons, moderate temperatures, distinct four seasons, and abundant rainfall.
All seasons are suitable for visiting, but spring and autumn are the best.
The main building includes a revolutionary memorial hall. The horizontal plaque on the main entrance of the memorial hall is engraved with the eight big characters "Zhaoping'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall" written by Zhang Renzhi, the former vice chairman of the Provincial CPPCC. The hall displays the historical sites of the people's revolutionary struggle in Rui'an East District and photos of famous martyrs. There are 6 display cabinets for physical objects and text materials and 4 image exhibition halls.
There are also two lecture (conference) halls and a reception room. Entering through the main gate, on the wall to the right of the stairs is a poem written by Comrade Liu Ying in prison: "After ten years of fighting, until now, I have survived the hail of bullets and the forest of gunfire. Dying on the battlefield would be a joy, but how can I be safe in this prison cell?"
