"Izu Cactus Zoo" is a petting zoo in #Ito, #Shizuoka Prefecture!

Izu Cactus Zoo is a zoo where you can get up close and personal with 1,500 types of cacti and capybaras, as well as about 140 other types of animals. 🐒

The "Original Capybara Open-Air Bath", which is only open in winter, is known as a "winter feature of Izu", and during the cold season you can see #capybaras bathing comfortably. ♨️

You can also interact with many animals, including free-roaming squirrel monkeys and peacocks, as well as the ever-popular capybaras. ♩

In the cactus greenhouse, there is a "cactus picking workshop", where you can enjoy the only cactus picking experience in the world! 🌵
