[Shizuoka] Ito, a southern hot spring resort with an exotic atmosphere

Ito is a hot spring and sea town on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, where you can spend a relaxing time. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the smell of the sea and the steam from the hot springs floating around the town. At the inn, I soaked in the hot springs that flow directly from the source, and the fatigue of my trip was gradually soothed. At Ito Orange Beach by the sea, the scenery created by the gentle waves and palm trees was somewhat exotic, and it was very pleasant to walk. I also stopped by Tokaikan in the town, and enjoyed the atmosphere of the old hot spring inn along with the wooden architecture that retains the charm of the Showa era. Walking along the Matsukawa Promenade, the willows and stone paving along the river were full of charm, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Ito was a town permeated with tranquility, where you can be soothed by the hot springs and soothed by the scenery of the sea and the town.
