🏖️ During the August holiday, I went on a trip to Izu and came back thinking: if I were to go again, I would still choose a private car tour! It’s perfect for people like me who hate the heat and sun, avoid walking or cycling, and just want to take beautiful photos and relax in seaside cafes. A "private car tour in Izu" unlocks the ultimate coastal experience!
👍 Recommended Attractions:
1️⃣ First Stop: Omuroyama Observatory
The panoramic view of the volcanic crater is breathtaking! Take the cable car to the top and enjoy a 360° view of the lush green crater and the distant Pacific Ocean. The wind is strong, but the scenery is worth every penny. The small volcanic train on the mountainside is perfect for photos, with a 100% success rate for stunning shots!
🍵 Nearby, there’s a café called "Unkai Saryo" where you can enjoy matcha warabi mochi with a volcanic view—matcha lovers will be thrilled!
2️⃣ Second Stop: Cactus Park
Who would’ve thought you could pet alpacas by the sea? The park has many adorable animal interaction zones where you can watch capybaras soaking in hot springs, feed giraffes, and cuddle raccoons—it’s super relaxing! The highlight is the seaside swing at the top of the hill, where you feel like you’re embracing the entire Pacific Ocean as you swing out.
🍔 For lunch, you can dine in the park and try the seafood rice bowl. The tuna belly topping is so fresh it’s unforgettable!
3️⃣ Third Stop: Izu Cactus Park Speedboat Experience
A must-try sea activity in Izu! Although you’ll get splashed, speeding across the blue ocean with the wind in your face is exhilarating. Don’t forget to wear a life jacket beforehand. The park also has changing rooms for after the ride, which is very considerate!
4️⃣ Fourth Stop: Dogashima Coast
Known as the "Izu Blue Tears" for its jelly-like blue waters! The sea is so blue it looks photoshopped. Walking along the trail, you can see natural sea caves and waves crashing against the rocks—it’s incredibly soothing.
🍦 Don’t miss the seaside café "Hamabe no Chaya"! Their famous Kuroshio ice cream is worth the wait. The sea salt flavor paired with the ocean view is unbeatable. Sitting on the terrace, gazing at the sea, you’ll feel pure bliss.
❤️ Private Car Tour Experience:
Who can resist the joy of exploring Izu in air-conditioned comfort? No need to check bus schedules or endure the scorching sun. Spend all your time gazing at the sea and relaxing—it’s all about comfort and freedom!
