[Fukuoka] A spectacular view of Itoshima! The Married Couple Rocks at Futamigaura in Sakurai

I've always wanted to visit Itoshima.

The Futamigaura Couple Rocks in Sakurai are a stunning combination of the white torii gate and the rocks.🪨

Depending on the tide, you can sometimes go all the way to the bottom of the torii gate, and sometimes you can only go as far as the beach!

I recommend checking the tide before you go.

I was super lucky when I went, because I was able to get right up to the bottom of the torii gate.✌️

It seems like it's pretty popular to go all the way to the bottom of the torii gate, and I waited in line for about 30 minutes to take a photo.📷

And while Itoshima is fine in the morning, the traffic in the afternoon was awful.🚗

It's best to go early in the morning and take your time sightseeing.✨
