Fukuoka Attractions - Daibeiu-in Temple - Peaceful Atmosphere

Itoshima is a popular spot in Fukuoka.
It has a strong image of fashionable seaside cafes and photo spots that are perfect for Instagram.
However, there is a place in Itoshima that I would like to recommend to those who like temples.
Raizan Sennyoji Daihio-in is particularly famous for its large 400-year-old maple tree, and many people visit during the autumn foliage season.
And instead of the maple leaves, I would highly recommend seeing the monks praying inside the hall.
If you pay the 400 yen admission fee, you can see the main image, the Eleven-Headed Thousand-Armed Thousand-Limited Kannon Bodhisattva Standing Statue, and the inside of the hall.
And (I'm not sure if he always does this) the monks gather the visitors inside the hall to pray, so I would recommend sitting in a position where you can see the monks.
Accompanied by the powerful sound of the Japanese drums, which are beaten accurately and powerfully, the monks smoothly recite the low-pitched and pleasant sutras and make a mudra at the end.
I was moved when I saw the hand gesture.
It was so different from any sutra I had experienced before that I still want to hear it again.
