Izu Kawazu Sakura is a variety of cherry blossoms on the Izu Peninsula in Japan. Because of its special flowering period, it usually begins to bloom from late February to early March every year, so it is called one of the "earliest cherry blossoms"! Compared with the cherry blossoms in Tokyo and Kyoto, it blooms earlier and has a longer flowering period, which is the prelude to spring🍃🌸

🌸Transportation:
For a one-day tour, Izu Kyuko Line 1-day pass is recommended, which is 3,000 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for children. This ticket can be used to board non-reserved seats on local trains (including rapid trains) on the Izu Kyuko Line. When riding a limited express train, you must purchase a "limited express ticket" in addition to your ticket. Of course, there are also 2-3 day tour tickets, and everyone can buy tickets according to their needs. [Rapeseed Field] Transfer to Shimogamo-bound bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station → Get off at the "Hino" bus stop → Walk to the rapeseed field
[Sakuramatsuri Event Venue] Transfer to Shimogamo-bound bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station → Get off at the "Kujo Bridge" bus stop → Walk 2-3 minutes to the Sakuramatsuri venue

There are lots of cherry blossoms to see right outside Kawazu Station! There are also many food stalls!
