Vintage at Kopikina Tebet Timur

Kopikina Tebet Timur is a shop hidden in a quiet corner of the Tebet neighborhood, yet it has a charm that unknowingly made me stop walking. From the first step through the door, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air, instantly relaxing my heart.
The interior is tastefully decorated in a vintage style. Old wooden tables are simply arranged, the exposed reddish-brown brick walls look classic, and in one corner, there is an antique typewriter and a vinyl record player that still works. Soft jazz music from the '60s plays in the background, creating an atmosphere that feels like being taken to another world where time slows down.

I sat at a table by the window, watching the sunlight streaming through the old glass, casting patterned reflections on the vintage wooden table. It’s not luxurious, but it has a warmth that can’t be found in modern shops. The black coffee served in a dark brown ceramic cup with homemade biscuits on the side made everything feel like returning to a past home that never really existed.
