An artificial beach park built for Fukuoka residents
to come relax near the city, step on the soft sand,
walk along the beach, play beach volleyball. But with
a comfortable and lovely atmosphere, this place has become
a place to relax and enjoy the breeze with Japanese and South Koreans
coming here and there, especially groups of close friends and couples
.
When I went there, there were a lot of South Koreans because Fukuoka
is only a short distance from Jeju Island. Especially if you come to visit
during the summer in Japan, there will be a lot of people.

Surroundings are restaurants, cafes, soft-serve ice cream shops, barbecues
as well as beach sports and water sports centers.
(But if you want to play water sports here, there are specific opening and closing times.)
Next to it, there is also Fukuoka Tower (福岡タワー) to climb.
To see a 360-degree view of the city as well.

• Access: From Fukuoka Airport, it is the closest.
From Hakata Station, walk to the bus at
Hakata Bus Terminal 1F and get off at the Fukuoka Tower stop.
Then walk for 4 minutes to get there (total time 35 minutes).
