One-day trip In Mt. Aso🌋
See the smoke of Mt. Aso on a rainy day
Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu Region
.
This day trip, we went to Mt. Aso (阿蘇山)
or Aso-san, the world's largest volcano that
is still erupting and spewing ash and lava
continuously. It covers an area of 5 mountains in Aso, adjacent to each other
25 kilometers: Takadake, Nekodake,
Nakadake, Eboshidake and Kishimadake. The point
where we can stop to see the crater is
on Mt. Nakadake (Mt.Nakadake)
which is 1,506 meters above sea level, Loei
.
We came to visit by train and sightseeing bus
You may be familiar with the image of a road trip on a mountain
grassland
Green with horses grazing And the giant chimney
.
But the unexpected happened. On the day of the trip
It turned out to be a stormy day all day, making the pictures
different. I think I will definitely come back again on this trip, Oh!
.
🚩Sightseeing spots on the trip
• Aso Volcano Museum (Kusasenri Volcano Museum)
• Aso Sanjo Terminal
• Mt. Aso Nakadake Crater 1

It takes 30-50 minutes, depending on the train line.
