Yubadon Naokichi: Enjoy tofu in Hakone!

I had an irresistible experience in Hakone for tofu lovers. I went to a restaurant called "Yubadon Naokichi" located a 3-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Business hours are from 11:00 to 18:00, and it is closed on Tuesdays. I visited Hakone during Golden Week and decided to try the Hakone tofu that I had heard good things about. It was a popular restaurant, so I lined up for about an hour, but it was worth it. There are beautiful views around the restaurant, and you can also stroll along the stream. I recommend getting a numbered ticket first, strolling around the area, and then coming back to enjoy your meal.

The set menu in photo 1 includes chilled tofu skin, chilled tofu, and tofu soup rice. Before and after the meal, soy milk and dessert (azuki bean soup with bean skin) are served, respectively. The seasoning is simple, but overall it is very refreshing and helps to relieve the heat. If you like bean products and are looking for a cool place, please visit!
