Odori Park, which stretches east to west through the heart of Sapporo, is the perfect starting point for sightseeing. In spring, the flowerbeds and fountains are beautifully adorned; in summer, it hosts beer gardens; in autumn, the park is painted with vibrant fall foliage; and in winter, it transforms with illuminations and the famous Snow Festival. Especially during February's "Sapporo Snow Festival," the park is lined with massive snow and ice sculptures, attracting numerous visitors from both Japan and abroad. With direct access from Odori Subway Station, it’s incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is filled with cafes and department stores, making it an ideal spot to take a relaxing break between sightseeing. The atmosphere changes dramatically between day and night, so visiting twice at different times is highly recommended.
