- Suan Luang Rama 8 offers a beautiful atmosphere and scenic views, offering clear views of several important historical structures of Rattanakosin on the opposite bank, such as Phra Sumen Fort, Bang Khun Phrom Palace, and Phra Pin Klao Bridge. The park also features a royal monument of King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII), commissioned by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Fine Arts Department. The statue, which is three times the actual height of King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII), stands approximately 5.4 meters tall, standing.
- Suan Luang Rama 8 was established alongside Rama VIII Bridge in 2000 and opened in 2002. This project, initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX), aimed to alleviate traffic congestion within Rattanakosin and facilitate faster flow from the Bangkok side to the Thonburi side.
