The Tayebat City Museum is like a city in itself. If you are interested in world history, Saudi Arabia, and Jeddah, you should definitely visit at least once.
It recreates the traditional Hejaz architectural style, featuring window coverings and ornate minarets. You can see the building adorned with intricate wooden latticework and European-style protruding windows decorated with colorful coral bricks.
More than 60,000 unique items are on display, including traditional Saudi clothing and a replica of the Kaaba, the sacred black cube located at the center of the Grand Mosque in Mecca. At every step, you encounter the history of Jeddah.
At Tayebat City Museum, part of the black fabric with gold thread used in the Mecca box is framed. After the event, take a commemorative photo in front of the sacred framed piece, which is gifted to Muslim countries.
