I climbed Hallasan. There are many reasons for traveling to Jeju, but there are also people who have Hallasan as their goal.
It wasn't my original goal, but I suddenly wanted to climb.

I started climbing without any equipment, just wearing sneakers.
I'm not someone who usually exercises, but I was confident in my physical strength, so I thought it would be easy, but Hallasan was not an easy mountain...

As expected of the highest mountain in Korea, it took 3 and a half hours just to climb. The time to enter Baekrokdam was limited, and even if I went, there was a set time to come down, so I climbed really hard, and the moment I saw Baekrokdam, the feeling of elation that I had climbed disappeared right away. It took me about 4 hours to lightly fill my stomach at Baekrokdam and start my descent... It had rained the day before, so the stone paths of Seongpanak, which are supposedly easy, were slippery and I twisted my knees and ankles to the point where my knees were about to fall out... But the experience and memories of climbing Mt. Hallasan will remain in my head for a while.
