The easiest place to visit upon arrival at Jeju Island is Yongduam. If you follow Yongduam, which is a 10-minute drive from the airport, you can also find a bakery cafe with a great ocean view.
The Yongduam beach has a deeper blue color than other Jeju beaches due to the basalt rocks and rough waves, so if you visit on a cloudy and windy day, you may feel overwhelmed by the atmosphere.
If you miss the cool ocean and waves, run to Yongduam as soon as you get off the airport. Then, have a cup of tea at the observatory cafe while looking at the beautiful ocean and draw up your travel plans.
