Enjoy the Miyun Reservoir from the Jianyan Trail.

The Thousand Islands red leaves scenery of Miyun Reservoir is all on the Jianyan Trail! Jianyan Trail is located in Jianyan Village, Miyun District, close to Yunlong Mountain Scenic Area. Here, you can enjoy the Thousand Islands scenery of Miyun Reservoir up close. The surrounding mountains are covered with red leaves. Now is the best time to view them.

On the platform at the top of the mountain, you can also see the Five-Tower and Four-Tower Great Walls, and to the north you can see the Lupi Pass Great Wall.

At the foot of the mountain is the Heishan Temple Railway Station. If you are lucky, you can take a picture of the approaching train.
