Jeju Summer Destination: Hangpaduri Anti-Mongol Historic Site

Hangpaduri Anti-Mongol Historic Site is located in Aewol-eup, Jeju, and is a historical site from the Goryeo Dynasty. In 1273, it was the location of the final resistance of the Sambyeolcho against the Mongols. Historically, it holds great significance as the last battlefield of Goryeo's anti-Mongol struggle and a site of martyrdom.

Today, during spring and summer, the site is adorned with fields of flowers such as canola, cornflowers, and cosmos. It is cherished as one of Jeju's iconic destinations where visitors can experience both history and the beauty of nature.
