The "Ultimate" Sunrise Experience

I decided to wake up early to conquer Darangswi Oreum before sunrise, and it was one of the wisest decisions of the trip. Although we had to hike uphill in the faint darkness (remember to bring a flashlight!), the feeling of waiting for the first moment of the day from this altitude was truly unforgettable. The first sunlight illuminated the crater mouth and spread across the surrounding Oreums, creating a mystical and peaceful scene. Hiking down, the fresh and cool air in the early morning helped to clear all the fatigue. Note that it is very windy at the summit, so wear multiple layers and a secure hat to stay warm.
