Temple Vibes & Forest Feels

#summervacay Spent the day hiking around Jogyesan and honestly, it was the perfect mix of peaceful and lowkey adventurous. The trails aren’t too crazy, mostly gentle inclines and forest paths that feel super zen. You get that quiet mountain vibe without needing to be a hardcore hiker.

One of the coolest parts? The temples. Songgwangsa and Seonamsa are tucked into the forest like something out of a Ghibli movie. Super chill atmosphere, monks doing their thing, and the sound of water flowing nearby. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to whisper, even when you’re outside.

The hike itself isn’t long, but you can stretch it out by wandering different routes. I took my time, snacked a lot, and soaked in all the greenery. Definitely not about speed, this one’s for slowing down and just enjoying where you are.

If you’re looking for a hike with soul (and minimal leg burn), Jogyesan is a solid bet.
