Jilin | Tomb of King Changshou, the 20th King of Goguryeo

❤Recommended reason:
The King Changshou Tomb Scenic Area in Ji'an consists of the King Changshou Tomb, the No. 1 Tomb of King Changshou, the altar site, and the Changshou Well.
The General's Tomb was built in the early 5th century and is the tomb of King Changshou, the 20th king of Goguryeo. The exterior of the tomb is a truncated square cone.
👍Most recommended:
There is an altar and two tombs to the northeast of the King Changshou Tomb. Only one tomb remains, which is similar in shape to the General's Tomb but much smaller in scale. According to historical records, the tomb should be the burial place of a high-ranking concubine or close minister.
🌟Highlights:
The King Changshou Tomb is the best-preserved stone tomb among the nearly 10,000 ancient tombs that still exist. Its structure is well-designed and exquisitely crafted, making it the pinnacle of Goguryeo tombs. Because its shape is similar to that of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh's tomb, it is known as the "Oriental Pyramid."
