🗓 January 21, 2025

The Ji'an Museum showcases artifacts from Goguryeo, focusing on the period when its capital moved from Jolbon Fortress (Huanren Wunü Mountain Fortress) in 3 AD to Gungnae Fortress, located along the banks of the Yalu River. Gungnae Fortress served as Goguryeo's second capital for approximately 400 years, until the capital was relocated to Pyongyang Fortress in 427 AD. The museum provides a glimpse into the history and relics left behind during Goguryeo's rule over its vast territory.
