Bask in the sea of golden daylilies at Chike Mountain, Hualien

Chike Mountain in Hualien was historically known for its production of Chike trees, but it is now famous for its breathtaking fields of golden daylilies. Every year during the daylily season from August to September, the hills are blanketed with vibrant golden blooms, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring sight. Some farms even allow visitors to wander through the daylily fields, striking poses and taking photos amidst the flowers!

During the daylily season, traffic control measures and shuttle services are implemented. If you plan to drive on the mountain roads, exercise extra caution when passing other vehicles. Since the blooming period is limited, it is recommended to check the official website for real-time flower conditions before visiting to avoid disappointment.
