Apart from Erhai Lake,
I must recommend Jian Lake! Free! Less crowded! Great for photos!

Transportation: About 110 km from the ancient city, about 1.5 hours by car

There are wetlands on the east side of the lake and birch forests on the west side.
We went to the east side of the lake and navigated to Guandeng Village.
Go along the village road, turn right when you see the dirt road, and continue to the white house.
There are tall persimmon trees, and you can walk to the lake along the path.
The scenery of "blue sky, yellow leaves, and autumn colors"
comes to life here.
In such a quiet and comfortable environment,
a little camping is also a good idea.

A leisurely walk around the lake is the right way to enjoy the autumn.
Wear bright-colored clothes for great photos.
I recommend orange, red, yellow, and blue.
If you have time, you can also visit Jianchuan Ancient City,
which is much purer than Dali Ancient City.
I highly recommend you to visit.
