🚗 Self-driving: Locate the Lanma Wall of the Ancient Shu Road. It's about a 3.5-hour drive from Chengdu.

🌲[Jinniu Ancient Road Lanma Wall Hiking Guide]
The Shu Road was an important ancient transportation network connecting Sichuan and Shaanxi. The Jinniu Road, Micang Road, and Yinping Road in the Guangyuan area are the most well-preserved and are known as a true reflection of "The Shu Road is difficult, more difficult than ascending to the blue sky." The Guangyuan section of the Jinniu Ancient Road has well-preserved road facilities and is a living fossil for studying ancient transportation.

The hiking route is divided into three sections:
✅ Beginner-friendly Leisure Route
Starting from the Lanma Wall Service Center to Qingliang Village, passing through the pre-Qin Ancient Shu Road Lanma Wall and Renbai Residence. The ancient cypresses on both sides are towering, as if stepping into the forbidden forest of Harry Potter. This section is about 5.5 km round trip, and it takes about 3 hours to walk and play.

✅ Advanced Routes
1. Puan Town - Lanma Wall - Liugou Town, 16 km in total

2. Hanyang Town - Jianmen Road Exit of Puan Town, 14 km in total

3. Zhaohua Ancient City - Jianmenguan North Tourist Center, 27 km in total

[Hiking Preparation]
* Wear hiking shoes and bring hiking poles
* Take sun protection and mosquito repellent measures
* Download offline maps in advance
* Bring enough water and food (there are basically no shops along the way)
* It is recommended to wear Kailas hiking shoes, which have strong grip, are comfortable, and are suitable for long-distance hiking.
