Night tour of Qimingli, Jiangmen, Jan 2, 2025

After arriving at Jiangmen East, take bus No. 12 to Qimingli Cultural Block next to Donghu Park.
Qimingli is one of the 13 century-old traditional overseas Chinese villages in Jiangmen. In 1914, a group of overseas Chinese living in New Zealand formed a real estate company to buy land and build houses near Shiwancun. Mr. Huang Lige, an overseas Chinese, first built a four-building, three-story Qiming Building, which is now No. 39 to 42 Qimingli. This is why the area is called Qimingli. Later, overseas Chinese from all over the world introduced each other and bought land and built houses here. The appearance of the houses is based on the traditional Lingnan residential style, with a large number of Western elements. The structure is mostly cement mixed structure, with blue bricks. The door beams and other parts are made of wood. The houses are elegant and quiet, with a touch of Western romance.
At night, Qimingli has various light shows, as well as various snack shops, small restaurants, and intangible cultural heritage streets.
