Foye Cave, Jiangyou, Sichuan | Filming location for "Journey to the West".

👉Foye Cave is a 4A-level tourist attraction in China. It is said that during the Republic of China, a 3-meter-high natural stalactite Buddha statue was discovered in the underground river, hence the name. The entire scenic area is mainly composed of large caves, deep gorges, jungles, and strange rocks. In addition, there are many folk legends about Foye Cave, which adds a mysterious veil to the entire scenic area.

♥️Recommended activities:
1. Natural cave: With outdoor temperatures of over 30°C in summer, the temperature of around 18°C in the cave is the best place to escape the heat. I was freezing in my short sleeves and shorts. 😭 The natural stalactites and lights complement each other, and you can take a boat tour of the underground river (10–15 minutes).
2. Bamboo rafting: A must-try activity. It's thrilling and exciting, and there are professional bamboo raft workers to ensure safety. You can also try it yourself, but it's very tiring. 🎃
3. Playing in the water: All activities are open on weekends and holidays. If you go in the off-season, there will be no one to play with. This is one of the children's favorite activities.
4. Sansheng Stone Forest: Walking on the rugged path, I happily named the stones along the way. It's a fun journey.
5. Glass walkway: A must-try activity. A 200-meter-long transparent bridge, about tens of meters above the forest and river below. At the end of the bridge, the glass bridge will have sound and light effects of shattering glass as you walk on it. It's quite realistic, and I walked back and forth on this section.
6. Glass slide: If the glass walkway is not exciting enough for you, you must try the slide. You can control the speed yourself. If you don't want to take the slide, you can take the stairs next to it. You can take a sightseeing bus to the exit.

Summer: Monday to Sunday, 08:30–18:00.
Winter: Monday to Sunday, 09:00–17:30.

🚘Transportation
Train/High-speed rail: Take a train from Chengdu North Railway Station or Chengdu East Railway Station to Jiangyou Railway Station, then transfer to Jiangyou East Bus Station and take a direct bus to Foye Cave.
Bus: Take a bus from Chengdu Zhaojue Temple Bus Station to Jiangyou Bus Station, then transfer to Jiangyou East Bus Station and take a direct bus to Foye Cave.

🎫Tickets: Adult tickets are CNY 75 per person (including underground river boat tour), child tickets are CNY 40 per person. There is an additional charge for the glass walkway.
