People always have to visit their hometowns. So I came to Jiangyou, my ancestral home. This is a seriously underestimated small town. The tranquil and poetic atmosphere makes people feel comfortable. Li Bai lived here for 24 years. I spent one day to experience his world. 🍵Must-check-in • Chanlin Temple. A temple hidden deep in the fields. The temple is not big, but there is a different world inside. You can copy scriptures and pray, drink tea and enjoy flowers, and you can also see the 🚂 small train passing through the fields. It is simply an ideal back garden.
You can also explore the nearby country roads, where there are abandoned railways and rice fields, which are great for taking photos!
☑Reservation for balcony seats is required in advance on holidays
☑The temple has vegetarian meals🍚Lunch at 11:30, dinner at 17:30
☑If you drive, there is a parking lot here; if you come by train, it takes 10 minutes to get there by taxi from Jiangyou Station
🎋Must-check-in•Li Bai Memorial Hall
In the autumn of October, the Li Bai Memorial Hall is still green and lush, 🎐Cicadas chirping, light falling, ancient wood fragrance... Although it is an imitation Tang Dynasty building, the simple beauty of the garden landscape is enough to make me stop.
The memorial hall not only houses several collections of Li Bai's poems, but also calligraphy and paintings by famous artists of all dynasties. If you have enough time, it is really worth staying here.
☑Tickets are free, opening hours are 9:00-17:00
☑There is a 🍵Gu Mo Ningjia Teahouse on the right hand side of the entrance of the scenic spot, which is good, with an average of 10-40 yuan per person
☑Stamps can be stamped in the cultural and creative store at the entrance. Friends who like to collect stamps should remember to bring a notebook
🚄Transportation: From Chengdu, it takes 1 hour to reach Jiangyou by high-speed rail, and 3 hours to reach Jiangyou by self-driving
📝Recommended one-day route: Jiangyou Station-Chanlin Temple-Li Bai Memorial Hall-Pao Cannon Street-Jiangyou Station
🥘Must-check-in food: Jiangyou pig intestines, Mianyang rice noodles
⛰️If you have time, you can also climb Doushan Mountain, which is a fairy mountain written into poems by Li Bai
