Jianshui’s Old City Train

While exploring Jianshui’s surprising number of intriguing attractions, my guide mentioned that visiting the Jianshui Old City Train would be worth the excursion.

Turns out, he was right! While this century old gauge railway no longer actually serves passengers anymore, there is a tourist train that runs through it twice a day. It was fun to spend an hour just wandering the tracks, gaze upon vintage looking items and explore the surroundings of the area. It’s a great little spot for making use of their photo opportunities too.

In total, I think I spent an hour here just wandering and taking photos!
