⛰【Attraction Guide】
🌊 Jiayu Erqiao Park, located in Hubei, is adjacent to the Sanhu Lianjiang Scenic Area, one of the sources of the Three Kingdoms culture. This area is not only famous for its beautiful women, but also has a rich history and culture. According to legend, the two Qiao sisters, who were known for their beauty, were born here.
🎑 The father of the two Qiao sisters, Qiao Xuan, was a famous minister in the late Han Dynasty. He lived in a traditional Chinese medicine doctor's house in Shayang Fort for many years. He later married the daughter of the doctor's family and gave birth to Daqiao and Xiaoqiao. Shayang Fort is located in Jiayu County, so Erqiao Park usually refers to Jiayu Erqiao Park.
🎑 In Su Dongpo's "Remembering the Red Cliffs," he wrote: "Thinking back to Gongjin's time, Xiaoqiao was newly married, with a heroic posture and many strategies. Looking back and smiling, the old man left the Yellow Crane Tower, and fireworks were set off in March in Yangzhou. Even after a thousand years, the faces of the two Qiao sisters still remain." Daqiao was the wife of Sun Ce, and it is said that she cried for months after Sun Ce's death. Xiaoqiao was the wife of Zhou Yu, and she was known as the second most beautiful woman in the Three Kingdoms, although not as beautiful as Diaochan.
🎑 Hubei is known as the hometown of the Three Kingdoms culture. There are many famous historical events here, such as the Battle of Red Cliffs, Guan Yu's loss of Jingzhou, and Liu Bei's three visits to the thatched cottage. Yiling, Changbanpo, Taizi Bridge, Dangyang Bridge, and Dianjiangtai are all familiar place names that are closely related to this area.
Note: The two Erqiao Parks, one in Anhui's Qianshan City and the other in Hubei's Jiayu County, both claim to be the hometown of the two Qiao sisters.
