Longmen Waves is located on the coast of Eman Town, Danzhou City, on the Longmen Mountain. Longmen Mountain, a rocky mountain towering over the coast, boasts a majestic and imposing landscape of jagged rocks. To the east of the mountain lies a gate known as the "First Gate of the Southern Sky." Over 30 meters high and 20 meters wide, it is hollow and ventilated, with its arched rock formation. Waves crashing against the gate create a drum-like sound that reverberates for over 10 miles, hence the name "Longmen Waves." The name derives from a seven-character quatrain written during the Qing Dynasty, written during a tribute examination: "Longmen's steep rocks are majestic, and from afar, the incoming tide swells with white waves." The long and arduous journey through Shu is astonishing, yet my homeland still holds many perilous paths.

The 4-kilometer-long coastline surrounding Longmen Jilang has clean beaches, huge rocks of various shapes on the shore, and unique scenery. Standing on the rocks to watch the waves is refreshing; walking on the sand along the coast, the vast and boundless sea in front of you makes your mind feel extremely open.
