Lakeside Kandy, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

The Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is indeed a picturesque and serene spot in the heart of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Created in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, it serves as a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The lake’s lush surroundings, charming island in the center, and the historical and cultural significance it holds make it a favorite among both locals and tourists. Walking around the lake, with its scenic views and peaceful ambiance, truly adds a touch of glamour and tranquility to the vibrant city of Kandy.
