Baotu Spring

The Baotu Spring,crowned as Jinan's Premier Spring leads the "Seventy-Two Famous Springs" of Jinan. Three jets of water **gush vigorously** from underground limestone caves day and night, churning like wheels with a thunderous murmur. Emperor Qianlong bestowed its title "**Best Spring under Heaven**", making it the top of Jinan's Three Great Scenic Spots and the soul of the "Spring City".

Daming Lake

Daming Lake hailed as the **Pearl of the Spring City**, completes Jinan's "Three Great Scenic Spots" with serene grace. Fed by multiple springs, its water **never overflows in rain nor dries in drought**, mysteriously harboring no snakes or frogs—an enigma unsolved for 600 years. The couplet at Lixia Pavilion captures its essence: *"Embraced by lotuses and willows, Half the lake mirrors Jinan's hills and town."* Legends of Emperor Qianlong and Xia Yuhe weave romance into its waters.
