See the painted glazed figurines at Jincheng Museum

In an ancient stone tomb in Doupo Village, Taiyang Town, Jincheng, the pottery figurines of ceremonial guards unearthed from the tomb of Zhang Guangkui, the Right Councillor of Shandong during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty are still lifelike and exquisite, reflecting the prominent status of the tomb owner during his lifetime and the development of the exquisite handicraft manufacturing industry in ancient China. The painted glazed figurines unearthed from Zhang Guangkui's tomb are rich in colors and include daily life figurines, attendant figurines, servant figurines, housekeeper figurines, sedan chair bearer figurines, horse-leading figurines, ceremonial figurines, and performing arts figurines, which well reflect the living conditions of the people at that time.
