
Ren Kecheng's tomb is located in Jianshan Village, Huaxi District, Guiyang City, on a pine slope on the right side of the Huaxi-Leizhuang highway, approximately 5 kilometers away . He was reburied here from Chashanpo in 1990. A curved stone tablet stands in front of the tomb, inscribed in its center with the words " Ren Gong Zhiqing's Tomb ." The circular tomb, built of bluestone, covers over 60 square meters and is flanked by a stone table and bench.
Ren Kecheng , a native of Puding County, Guizhou Province, originally named Wenchu, courtesy name Zhiqing, and later known as Paosou, was of Han ethnicity and a leading figure in Guizhou's constitutionalist movement . He passed the imperial examination in 1903 , the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. During that time, Guizhou implemented new policies and established schools. Zhiqing, along with Tang Eryong and Hua Zhihong, founded the Normal School, the Xianqun Law and Politics School, the Provincial Public Middle School, and the Superior Normal School, where he served as principal lecturer and had a large student body.
