We discovered a place in China that looks the most like Mars🔥. The important thing is that it's less crowded, niche, very affordable, and perfect for taking photos. When we posted on social media, everyone thought we went to Antelope Canyon in the USA🇺🇸. Highly recommend planning a trip here this holiday; it's the Wave Valley in Yulin!
🚗【Transportation】
You can take a high-speed train🚄 or a plane✈ to Yulin. 🚄 Take the train to Jingbian, ✈ or fly directly to Yulin. It's a 2-hour drive from the airport to the scenic area. We departed from Beijing, with a flight time of 1.5 hours. On the first day, you can explore Yulin city and stay at a nearby homestay. On the second day, head directly to the Wave Valley scenic area. Total length: 5.8 km, Duration: 2.5-3 hours
Scenic Area Entrance → Glass Scenic Bridge/Walking Path → Flame Danxia → Viewing Platform → Red Cliff Danxia → Time Tunnel → Core of the Earth Danxia → Yanjia Village → Restaurant → Escalator/Walking Path → Kilometer Gallery → Retrospect Bridge → Sacred Tree Bridge → Dragon Heart Rock → Scenic Area Exit (END)
2⃣ Small Loop (For those with less stamina):
Duration: 1 hour
Scenic Area Entrance → Glass Scenic Bridge → Flame Danxia → Flowing Wave Platform → Music Steps → Viewing Platform → Return to Scenic Area Entrance via West Walking Steps of Viewing Platform (END)
✅ Flame Danxia
The first area to visit, this is the place that looks the most like Mars and is the most representative of the wavy Danxia landform. It's recommended to take photos at sunset; the pictures turn out amazing! There's also a 340-meter glass scenic bridge where you can experience the thrill of walking in the clouds!

✅ Red Cliff Danxia
Red Cliff Danxia is a typical canyon landscape. The north side of the canyon features nearly 100-meter-high red rock cliffs, while the south side showcases the typical Loess Plateau landform. The stark contrast between the two provides a strong visual impact.

✅ Core of the Earth Danxia
This is a rare underground Danxia in China, with unique wavy canyons, clear textures, and layers upon layers, as if nature painted a beautiful picture. It's highly recommended to take photos at One Line Sky, a narrow canyon with towering rocks on both sides. The best lighting for photos is around noon!
