Jingdezhen: A Tiny Yet Dazzling Miracle City

Took the high-speed train from Nanchang to Jingdezhen, originally planning to visit museums but couldn't get reservations, so I embarked on a "Ceramic Art Marathon Day Trip" instead: Le Tian Market in the morning, Sculpture Porcelain Factory in the afternoon, and Taoxichuan at night—immersing myself in the charm of ceramics!

📍【Le Tian Market】

✔️ Limited-time feature: Only open on weekend mornings! Stalls pack up promptly at 12:30, so don’t sleep in if you want to explore~
✔️ Mixed experience: Tucked away in a village factory area, the location is remote but the "gold content" is high! Though there are few stalls, the creativity and craftsmanship of the pieces are off the charts—though so are the prices (fell in love with a paper notebook priced at 398 yuan, which hurt my wallet deeply😭).
✔️ Verdict: Great for those with ample budgets seeking unique designs, but casual visitors can also enjoy a quick stroll or photo ops—it’s super photogenic!

📍【Sculpture Porcelain Factory】

✔️ Crowd alert: Packed with people, but incredibly inclusive! You’ll find both generic stalls and hidden independent design shops with wildly varying prices—every find feels like a steal~
✔️ Hidden gem: Don’t let the generic alley at the entrance deter you! Venture deeper for a "hidden wonderland" of diverse shops that’ll exhaust your legs. Need a break? Cafés are there to recharge you☕.
✔️ Bonus experience: Tons of ceramic workshops—don’t miss the chance to play with clay! Just manage your time wisely to avoid derailing your plans like I did...

📍【Taoxichuan】

✔️ Beijing 798’s little sibling: The creative block vibes are unmatched, with more stalls than Le Tian and far superior craftsmanship/design compared to Sculpture Porcelain Factory. Conveniently located with diverse pricing, it’s my personal "best spot to explore in Jingdezhen"!
✔️ Pitfall warning: Don’t save it for last like I did! After a day of marathon walking + aesthetic fatigue, even the gorgeous night views couldn’t revive me—I barely circled twice before leaving. Visit when you’re energized to fully appreciate it!

🍜【Food Time】

✔️ Countless small stir-fry joints line the streets. Tried the viral "Home for Dinner"—flavors were decent (might disappoint fans of Changsha’s "Ben Luobo").
✔️ Surprise find! A random noodle shop’s clay-pot soup was tear-jerkingly delicious—a total hidden gem🥣.

🚗【Transportation Woes】

Near Le Tian, Sculpture Porcelain Factory, and Taoxichuan? Super! Congested! Better to taxi nearby and walk, or you’ll be stuck in soul-crushing traffic...

🏠 Accommodation Rec

Highly recommend staying near Taoxichuan Cultural Block! Super close to attractions—just a 10-minute e-bike ride to Sanbao Village🚴‍♀️. Personally tested "Jingdezhen Boge Hotel": e-bike rentals right outside, making travel smooth as butter. Perfect for lazy folks or those in a hurry🏨.

Follow this itinerary, dodge the pitfalls, and unlock the joy of "ceramic treasure hunting" in Jingdezhen✨
