Xishuangbanna, indeed the most beautiful places are all free|||

When traveling to Xishuangbanna, don’t just stick to those popular spots with expensive tickets and crowds. Here I share several spots that are free and offer amazing photo opportunities.
.
Photo 1️⃣: Entrance to the East Gate parking lot of Starlight Night Market. Xishuangbanna Lalaland, can be captured with a 3x telephoto on your phone.
.
Photo 2️⃣: Yuanjin · Five Trees and Six Flowers Mengle Dai Cultural Tourism Town. You can frame the landmark Peacock Tower in the distance using a Dai-style pavilion; I like to call it the Gate of Xishuangbanna. (About 4x zoom on phone)
.
Photo 3️⃣: Royal Wharf and Jinglan Hotel in the same frame. The spot is next to Building 15 in Jingfazhai.
.
Photo 4️⃣: North side of Jinglan Hotel, previously photographed. After the water feature renovation, this spot is truly amazing.
.
Photo 5️⃣: Royal Wharf, part of the second phase of Starlight Night Market. The water and light show at night is simply stunning. It has a bit of the vibe of The Venetian in Macau.
.
Photo 6️⃣: Elephant Bridge, south of Jinglan Hotel. Standing on Peacock Bridge to shoot is very spectacular.
.
Photo 7️⃣: Mandalay, a Southeast Asian-style yellow pagoda. Free and less crowded. Isn’t this much better than the packed Manting Park? 🤣
.
Photo 8️⃣: Saigon Wharf, yellow small houses with colorful patterns. Perfect for photos.
.
Photo 9️⃣: Mengle Avenue with Buddha and Golden Pagoda in the same frame. Near Chunjiang Mingyue Community. This requires a super telephoto lens. About 10x zoom on phone is needed for a good shot.
.
(Note: Photos 3️⃣-8️⃣ are from the second phase of Starlight Night Market. It’s newly built and still fresh. Hurry up and go while it’s less crowded 🤪)
