Jinhua Shuanglong Cave Day Trip

Basic Information

• Location: Located in Beishan, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province.

• Tickets: Around CNY 90, including Shuanglong Cave, Binghu Cave, Taoyuan Cave, Jinhua Temple, and other attractions.

• Opening hours: Summer 08:00–17:00, winter 08:30–16:30.

Transportation

• Self-driving: Navigate to "Jinhua Shuanglong Cave." It takes about half an hour from downtown Jinhua. There is a parking lot in the scenic area.

• Public transportation: You can take bus No. 3, No. 5, No. 309, and other buses to the station near the scenic area.

Attractions

• Cave entrance and outer cave: The entrance looks like a bridge hole, and the outer cave is tall and spacious, like a large hall that can accommodate thousands of people.

• Crevice: Narrow, only a small boat can enter and exit. You need to lie on your back on the boat, and the rocks on the left, right, and above seem to be pressing against you.

• Inner cave: Pitch black, with two dragons winding on the top of the cave, as well as numerous, ever-changing, and colorful stalactites and stalagmites.

• Binghu Cave: There is a waterfall inside, with a large drop, abundant water, and magnificent momentum.

• Taoyuan Cave: The winding path leads to a secluded place, and there are various strange rock shapes in the cave.

Tour Route

Generally, you enter from Shuanglong Cave, reach the inner cave through the crevice, and then visit other attractions such as Binghu Cave from the inner cave before exiting the cave. You can also visit in reverse.

Tour Tips

• Learn about the opening hours and ticket information of the scenic area in advance, and plan your itinerary reasonably.

• When visiting the crevice, lie on your back on the boat as instructed by the staff, and protect your head and body.

• The inner cave is relatively dark. You can follow the guide's explanation or bring your own flashlight to better appreciate the stalactites and stalagmites.
