Avoid the three-day, two-night National Day trip to Lishui

Traveling with parents to avoid the National Day rush
This time we chose Zhejiang again
Day 1: Jinyun Xiandu
Left Suzhou by car at 7 a.m.
Arrived at Jinyun Xiandu after about four hours
Since we booked a homestay inside Xiandu for the night,
we informed the owner of our license plate in advance, so the car was allowed inside
After arriving, we went to eat first
In the afternoon, we visited Zhutan Mountain - Dinghu Peak - Niweng Cave - Yandang Study
Zhutan Mountain and Dinghu Peak were quite nice with beautiful scenery
Niweng Cave was very small, felt like it could be skipped
Yandang Study is suitable for young people to check in and take photos
For dinner, we ate at a farmhouse restaurant inside the scenic area
The scenic area is very large, each attraction has a parking lot
But after visiting, you have to drive back around, which is quite tiring
If you don’t drive, you can take the bus
The homestay at night actually had poor sound insulation
But the village was very quiet at night, no noise at all
Except for dogs barking, which lasted all night
For breakfast, we had the owner’s homemade Jinyun sesame flatbread, which was pretty good
When leaving, we bought two more from the Jinyun sesame flatbread headquarters to take away
Day 2: Chenjiapu Village - Yangjiatang Village
In the morning, we finished visiting the last attraction, Xiaochibi
The whole family agreed this was the most fun spot
Then we headed to Songyang County, about a two-hour drive
First, we went to Chenjiapu Village, a village halfway up the mountain
The winding mountain road made me dizzy
After visiting, we went to Yangjiatang
On the way, we saw wild little squirrels, small and cute
On another mountain, the drive also made me dizzy
We caught the sunset just in time
There were more tourists than in Chenjiapu
Stayed at a homestay in the village at night
The homestay owner’s dinner was the best we had in these two days
The village was also very quiet at night, really liked it
Later it rained
At first, I thought falling asleep to the sound of rain was romantic
But then the thunder got louder and louder, felt like it was splitting the sky above me
Day 3: Yunhe Terraces
Left the homestay in the morning and drove an hour and a half to arrive
It had just rained, very cool, the past two days were scorching hot
The mountain was shrouded in mist
There was no sun, so the photos looked gloomy
But it’s okay, I’m not good at taking photos anyway
Since we had to drive further up to Qixing Dun, I didn’t want to go
So we went to Baiyin Valley Kengen Stone Village
It’s similar to the previous villages
There is a trail here that leads directly to Qixing Dun
It probably takes about an hour, but I didn’t have time to try
Then we ate some Yunhe snacks and headed back
The return drive took six hours
