Dehang Miao Village is located in Dehang Village, Aizhai Town, Jishou City, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province. In the Miao language, deut hangd means "beautiful canyon." This scenic area is also one of the main sites for the "Mysterious Xiangxi Cool Summer" event led by the Propaganda Department of the Xiangxi Prefecture Committee.
Due to the undulating mountains, towering cliffs, and overlapping peak forests, many cliffs, rock walls, peak forests, waterfalls, and primeval forests have formed.
The area is crisscrossed by streams and rivers, enjoys a spring-like climate year-round, and has abundant plant and animal resources.
The natural scenery is exceptionally beautiful and charming. Dehang Miao Village is located 24 kilometers west of Jishou City, covering an area of 580 square kilometers.
This is a magical land, a masterpiece of natural scenery. Within this self-contained Dehang scenic area, streams run through deep gorges, waterfalls cascade, peaks compete in beauty, ancient trees and exotic flowers flourish, rare birds and beasts abound, and Miao ethnic landscapes are all present.
